Here's the video from the Macnab 'test run'; hotel instructors David Pilkington and Tim Smith just about made it! David managed to lose a couple of trout before finally getting to grips with one, and then landed and released six bass before Tim even had a take. Tim did manage a couple in the end, before the final task of the sea trout. David had his on the bank within 10 minutes of starting on beat 3, while Tim lost three, finally fluking one during a last-minute stop off on beat 2. This Macnab business isn't for the feint-hearted!
